Top left: Panna cotta with a balsamic vinegar drizzle from Fritti - AMAZING!!!
Top right: Tiramisu, also from Fritti. I only had a bite of this since I ordered the Panna cotta. A delicious bite. (My actual dinner was an amazing pizza with San Marzano tomatoes and italian snausage but I forgot to take a picture of it!)
Bottom right: Last night's dinner of salmon atop a sticky rice cake with a delicious sweet and sour sauce (from Murphy's).
Bottom left: my breakfast on Sat morning: omlette with mushrooms, tomato, Swiss cheese with a side of turkey bacon and English muffin with jalapeño jelly (AMAZING!!!!!)
Ooh, jalapeno jelly? Mmmm... And could you tell me what that big ol' leafy green is on top of your salmon dish?

ReplyDeletesorry you didn't get a chance to meet up with adri and theunis, maya (chaya - those are will's parents - they were stuck in atlanta for a couple of days while en route to south africa... where they will be for the rest of this week before kira and will meet up with them there on friday!)... apparently they had to stay in the airport the entire time? sucks.
you know, i don't know what the leafy green is. whatever it was, it was DELICIOUS. bok choy?? i don't know.
ReplyDeleteuh yeah, jalapeno jelly, along with pimento cheese, is like one of the bestest things/discoveries i've made since moving to the south. i'll ship some to you guys.
omg, i can't believe they had to stay in teh airport the whole time. that's crazy!! there was a tornado here yesterday which probably compounded their issues. hope they made it to SA safely though.
