on sunday night, i was woken up in the middle of the night by a huge crash-bang and thought that boo had maybe run into my room and into the window and then run out again?? (i felt her leap up from the bed and run away.) i fell right back asleep, but when i woke up, i found out that the source of the crash-bang had been that my world map fell off the wall! still no idea how that happened.
yesterday, i wore a new dress that i got in denver - i tried texting it to you both before realizing that chay you prob still don't have a functioning phone haha. anyway, i thought you (chaya) specifically might like it, so i'm posting it here! got lots of compliments on it, too, so it's a keeper (i was going back and forth on it all morning yesterday).
after a day of meetings (like 6 total - ugh) and then going to the gym, i came home and decided to make a salad out of stuff i could find in the fridge... so that ended up being: spinach, carrots, red peppers, hard boiled eggs, bacon crumbles, and cheddar cheese with a lite parmesan and peppercorn dressing. MAN it was delicious. (i really love bacon, egg, and cheese haha.)
going to my second spin class tonight. hope it doesn't kill me.
OH AND ALSO chaya i'm going to (FINALLY) buy my ticket to california today. buying a virgin airline flight to LAX and then will rent a car to drive to san clemente (and maybe return it that day and rent another car for the weekend -- or keep it the whole time, i don't know yet).

ReplyDelete1.that fried chicken and biscuit look amazing. there's a restaurant here called Parish that I'll have to take you to so you can have a real SOUTHERN fried chicken and homemade biscuit. M, D, and Chaya have already all been there :-P

jaya, how do you type your posts out so that the pictures are interspersed among the text? i type most of my posts from my phone but all my pictures load at the end of the post, rather that in between.

Food looks awesome - that salad especially because it was made so spontaneously. good food can come from leavings! (and we're not just talking sausage!)
when i write my posts on my phone, the pictures all come at the end - this one, i did on my computer at work, so i was able to move the pictures around. (when i uploaded them to the post, they showed up at the bottom but then i could click and drag them around.) and I. KNOW. i keep hearing about parish. *sigh*
