martes and miercoles!

Tuesday: I had to work late (hosted an event - first in an undergraduate student speaker series where undergrads presented their research to their peers - was so successful!! so much so that I didn't mind that I was at work until 8pm haha) and ended up having a little appetizer of hummus and pita, since I ordered a veggie platter from a restaurant called Hummus for the work event and then chili (made by Kira) when I finally got home.

Wednesday: I had free passes to see a prescreening of Anna Karenina last night (which was good - but I fell asleep at the end and missed basically a really major plot point - but I'm actually okay with that because we are reading the book for Book Club haha), and Kira and I grabbed dinner at Triumph Brewery before that. Appetizer of fried pickles (so good!) and then an antipasto flatbread with soppressata, red peppers, cheese of some sort, and bechamel sauce plus a beer. (The beer might have contributed to the sleeper behavior in the theater.)

And since I am so bad at remembering to take pictures of my food, here is a picture of an elephant and ducklings!
